Will QTek 8310 Work With Cingular?
This is the Faraday 2125, basically, but with a larger keypad and 802.11. Since I've never purchased unlocked phones and acquired service after, can someone tell me if (a) I can do this, and (b) if it's complicated.
Thanks in advance for your consideration.

As a phone it will work fine. But to use it as a data device, that will require some setup. Go to Cingular.com... customer service (?)... device support (I think) and pick the device closest yours, which would be the Cingular 2125. Then go to the SMS, MMS, browsers settings, and so forth. If your even a little bit savvy, this is a simple, but time-consuming project.
