Cingular Lovers...Help?

Matt716

I would like to know why should I choose ? I live in San Diego. Why should I choose them over Verizon or Nextel...which are the 2 that I am debating between...? Any help with which carrier to choose would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Also, I think you should know that I do not travel a lot, none at best/ So having network all over is really not a big deal. I do like to txt alot..but not to a lot of cingular users, if that matters. So anyone want to help...?

Thanks so much,
Matt

Where in San Diego?

If you don't go out to the desert often or stay on the highways when you do (like the main parts of Glamis, etc.) Cingular will do just fine for you. Verizon has always been solid in Southern CA, all the way back to Pac-Tel and Airtouch (both of whom I sold their at Mobilworks - Now Al & Ed's). I would avoid Nextel in general there.

Which carrier offers a better deal for your needs? Which has a phone style you like? I think the answers to those questions will lead you to your final decision. Both carriers do very well in overall coverage unless you really get off the beaten path.

Well I dont mean to jump on the band wagon but I agree that nextel wouldnt be as good of choice as cingy or verizon with the exception of there churp/PTT if thats what you need. As for cingy and verizon they both have good coverage in Southern cali and since your not traveling I would say it comes down more to which company has the phone you like the most at the price you like the most. As for plans and prices verizon and cingy are a mirror of each other regulary matching each others prices on almost everything from plans to ETF's to activation fee's.

Sure you do, that's exactly what you did when you insulted me numerous times here:

simply because I stated the results I have had with dealing with Customer Service reps was sub-standard at best.

You insult me and claim I troll the Cingular boards daily, yet I hardly have posted since the time you joined, which was December.

That is a reoccurring theme here Matt with Cingular represenatives.

If you call them out on their poor performance, they will insult you and spout off about how they do not need you as a customer. All the while, they turn a blind eye to the massive number of complaint
