I am looking at buying a Motorola V180 that was used on the ATT network in AZ. I want to use my current cingular sim card in my current nokia 6100 to put in the V180. Will it work? Do I have to get cingular to unlock the phone or sale me a new sim or is my current sim just a plug and play proposition? We are on the cingular network in AR.

TIA

If it is locked it won't work, sorry. ATTWS locked that phone, not Cingular, so no one has the code.

Now, it could be unlocked but you don't know until you pop in your Cingular SIM.
