Migrate to Cingular Premier Problem
My ATT account has been transitioned to Cingular. I want to upgrade to Congular pland and get new phones. I go through the Premier site to migrate. I select family plan (I have family plan now) and then 2 phone. I want to keep same numbers. I enter all information on checkout page. I get an invalid account number error when I submit checkout information. I have tried but the new Cingular account number and previous ATT billing account number. Any ideas?? Should this be possible?

When you enter your Cingular account number you should leave off the 001xx at the end of your acct number. That may be your problem.

i have had alot of people come into the store with that problem i seems when you migrate and add phones they get confused gets your best bet if possable is to go to a store you can be in and out in 25 min with working phones. 🙂 🙂

Or call your premier sales person... they will usually do it for you. If you don't know who that is, call telesales, just make sure you ask if they work for cingular or an auth agent as pricing may be different than what you see online.

You might want to call the cingular premiere support team 800-845-9681 7-7 CST. They will get you through it!
