Rokr E2
WTF? Phone Scoop said that it was going to be out 1st quarter, and here it is, almost the second quarter and no E2. Any input on when it's coming out? I wanna jump ship from verizon to the big Orange, and would like a decent phone to do it. Megapixle, MP3 (not with ITunes), and bluetooth. Help would be appreciated. 🙂

Bad news is, this phone isn't being released for cingular, or any other major carrier in the US. Maybe you can get it unlocked though...

Then what would you recommend for me to get, and has the same features of the E2? I also spoke to an old RadioShack friend, and he said he saw the ROKR E2 in the inventory systems. I just hope that he actually saw it, and will get it soon.

The SLVR has everything the e2 has, and is smaller. I would suggest that. Being a corp employee, we get a printout of whats coming, and the e2 isn't anywhere on the list.

SLVR only has a VGA camera, and 100 sing limit. E2 has mega pixle, and no limit. if anyone knows a phone with these features, let me know. Thanks 🙂

its for verizon but...Samsung sch-a930. external mp3 buttons. expandable memory. 1.3mp camera. smaller than E2. first quater.

Nah, I'm looking to ditch Verizon. The last straw is the new UI. Forget about blutooth, but when i BUY a phone, I expect to make it my own, but I wont rant about this, there's enough of that on this forum.

To the person who is looking for the phone I would suggest the w600i. It has a mp camera, bluetooth, stereo speakers, bass, and 256 mb of memory. The memory may not sound like alot but if u shrink the size of the song you can get over 100 on the phone.

I believe they will want to have more than one i-Tunes phone, but I seriously doubt the E2 will be one of em... But who knows, Cingular has done crazier things in the past with phones..

try the nokia 6682, 1.3 mp camera, muisc palyer, and bluetooth. it comes with a 64 mb card so u have to upgarde it. i have a 1gb card and have almost 200 songs, 30 vid clips, 300 pics, and still have room on it.

Yeah, I just saw that last night on cingular.com. How is the music player? Are nokias any good? When I sold Verizon, and Sprint, I hated them. I didn't like ther interface, or anything about them. I also think they look kinda ugly.

this is a hole new interface its a smart phone. i get signal ever where. the music palyer on it is ok but i didnt like it but since its a smart phone i just went online and found a new one. u can find a progarm for all most anything u need. and i think nokias r the best phones right now they know that they r phones first and ever thing else second. a lot of other phone companys forget.

I never had a smart phone, so forgive my ignorance. As long as the music player isn't anything like the V710 one where ALL it did was play MP3s, and only 1 at a time, no shuffle, repeat, or anything, I should be happy. Anyone know when RadioShack might get it?
