Cingular's Customer Service Is Supposed To Be Better?!

Let me just start with saying that I used to be a Cingular customer care employee. Well, actually, I used to be AT&T Wireless, then became Cingular when the merger took over. I left simply because I wanted to try a new field and since then have started a sales position with a different carrier.

That being said, I still maintain my Cingular account, and hold no grudge to my former employeer.

But man, their customer service has really gone down the drain.

I won't bore you with another story about how I requested two or three times to have features added and removed before they actually were. But I will tell you the story of last night. I called in, because my bill was a little high and I wanted to know the overage charges on it. This ...

With this ATT dealie going on, I believe that after approved a lot of the CSR/phone tech positions will be moved overseas... India, maybe Pakistan if they give up Bin Laden... You think you have a hard time talking to CSRs because of bad attitude, just wait...

I find it kind of odd that you used to work for Cingular's customer care, yet you couldn't even tell why your bill was so high?

Just a thought, otherwise, I agree with you, almost 100%.

I guess you have Detail Bill off.
