CINGULAR BILLING

I work for cingular wireless customer service. I work with cingular's billing systems every day. For the most part our billing is no better or worse than any other carrier. We have rollover minutes that puts a lot of stress on the system. But I beleive all in all it is not perfect but pretty close.

I hate your overcharges and reconnection fees especially when I tell you that my company pays late, and i hate fronting for the bills.. thanks Cingular.. i was going to drop you for Verizon's "in" network until I found out that "in" doesnt include across states at all times? anyways, their phone selections which require antennas suck, and no bluetooth?! good thing i didnt upgrade my car yet!

The Motorola v710 is a CDMA phone, so we won't be getting that one. The SE s700 has not been released yet, so no info available yet. It is supposed to be released for availability 4th quarter of this year.

well, as far as reconnect fees... they are explained and valid if your phone is suspended due to non-payment. it actually costs us money to send out letters asking for payment/ reconnecting the line, etc. The last response is correct... CHANGE YOUR BILL CYCLE DATE. If you are going to be more than 10 days late on your bill...SET UP A PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT. Once your bill is no longer past due, you can change your cycle date to whatever you want and the bill will be due 21 days later. Hope that helps.

Just a feeling but feels like you guys are becoming like banks.. you know people who have you depend on you so you try every which way to make any extra $$.. not that its not the american way.. but when a customer contacts you and informs cingular they are going to be late due to company paying late, and you still shut it off sounds like bad cs..

anyways, sorry bout that but the fee to process a letter is so rediculously low or call.. i got the silly voice mail reminding me to pay caz i am paperless.. lol automation and $30+ doesnt justify it.. its more like holding someone at bay while you guys price the restoration at an unreasonable rate.. it takes a flick of a switch if even that to run a customer on or off.. ok end of thoughts..

it's call negative reinforcement. when you do something wrong (not paying your bills) you get punished (late fees and restoral fee). When you realize the price of doing something wrong it's expected you will eventually learn from your mistakes and fix the problem.

if your "thoughts" are correct, what purpose would we have of giving you a due date on your bill?

There are simple ways to resolve your situation. Your best option has been detailed here for you. Give CC a call and adjust your billing date. Unless I am missing something that would work for you.

Is this a situation where you don't know when the funds will be available to pay, or is the bill just coming BEFORE the funds are available?
