South Central Market Lowers Churn to Record Level of Less Than 1 Percent
Cingular's South Central market has made Cingular history as the first market to achieve a churn level of less than 1 percent.
This milestone for the Arkansas-Oklahoma market came in February as the amount of postpaid customer turnover fell to .98 percent.
"We see churn is a fundamental measurement of our Reputation and a key to industry leadership," said Chief Operating Officer Ralph de la Vega. "This is great news for the South Central market, and we look forward to seeing all our markets making these kinds of historic achievements as the company moves ahead."
