about us getting free ringtones from walmart.com?
I've been trying to get some ringtones after a while, and I don't know whether is my SLVR or they found out about it. I used to get them on my v551 with no prob. I think it's been 2 months since I d-loaded a ringtone.... Everytime I try to connect and d-load the ringtone I get a: "403 Access Denied" message.... 😢

Why would cingular care if your getting your ringtones the walmart way?? Your still using, and paying for their internet 🙂

Just load your own ringtones:
1) Either connect your phone to the computer, or use a card reader to connect the TF card to the computer.
2) Don't use iTunes.
3) Take your 30-sec. MP3 and copy it to the transflash folder mobile\audio
4) Put card back in phone/disconnect phone from computer
5) Go to My Media -> Audio
6) Press menu, then select "Switch Storage Device"
7) Select TF card. Now the stuff you just put on there should be listed. Copy them to the phone's internal memory
😎 Now they should be listed as ringers.
In addition, it is the functionality of the phone, not the web service that allows you to do this, so they can't take it away! 😁
