1. the date has been pushed back to 4/17/06
2. All plans after that date will be considered promo plans so if its 6 months and 1 day into the contract they will have to renew to a new 2 year
3. This does not effect handset discounts the same rules will apply if its been 21 months since your last discount you can still get our phone and start your contract over .
4. This falls under the customer rules so its going to be a judgment call

if a customer calls to do this via customer support, they agree to the 2 year verbally or will they be putting the hotline on the account and making them accept the t&c through the ivr?

It depends, let's say they have a contract from dec,2005 to dec,2007, anf they make the plan change on june 3,2006, well they are doing a new 2 year till june 3, 2008 but since its only being extended by 7 months from their previous contract end date, then they do it verbally by taking the new plan with the T&C.
If the contract is jan 1,2005 to jan 1,2007 and they do the same thing on june 3,2006 and they make the plan change then since the extention on the contract is greater then 12 months in length(fr...
