why would anyone go to cingular if they want to use a PDA PHONE. thats a phone that requires the use of data. cingular does not have a wide reaching high speed data network at this time its still being implimented.

Tmobile does not have one either, they only have WIFI in hotspots in major citys

Sprint does have a pretty wide reaching evdo broadband network that would be pretty good depending where you live.

haha ya its really high speed. its not broadband its not even close. and in the areas where verizon wireless doesnt have broadband they have national access which is around 144kb/s

Yeah, and my cable internet is capable of 1 mbp/s. Yeah right. Capable speeds are a lot different than real world speeds, your cool Verizon phone will never reach 144 kbp/s on national access. Get real.

dont be bitter that cingular doesnt have any broadband service at this time yet you charge the same 44.99 for unlimited "high speed" as verizon does.

im merely trying to answer this guys question if he wants to get a voice plan then sure cingular is a fine company to go with but he said he wants a pda. cingular doesnt have the best plans or service for pda's and you know it, i know it, everyone who works in the industry knows it.

Depending on where the guy lives he may never even be on national access he may be in an EVDO coverage area and be using broadband all the time. if hes in a more remote area where broadband access isnt at then theres more then likely national access wh...

ya 1xrtt is classified as "high speed" aswell but lets not kid ourselves. its faster then dialup but its not broadband, neither is edge.

this guys gonna get a PDAphone which has advanced data features, email, and internet. why would you go with a carrier that doesnt have broadband coverage? Verizon wireless and sprint both have broadband speeds in a very wide reaching area nationwide and in areas that there isnt broadband there is 1xrtt which is "high speed" aswell.

CAN WE JUST END THIS! My god! i think you should just keep verizon there are great company. if you are looking to trying a new go to tmobile and see how it works out for you. wait for the blackberry coming out april 15. 🙂
