New rebate form after April 8th, new phones?

When the new rebate form comes out, which should be after April 8th, that's when the current one expires, does anyone know what new phones may show up on the new rebate form?

Hopefully some freshening up on the current lineup.

yep, and so are the rebate forms... there are some new models listed, which aren't listed on the device roadmap, so it should be interesting if they make it to the stores...

We can tell the manufactures of the phones right? 🙂 just no model numbers lol

lg, sony, samsung, blackberry, hp, sierra... just a few 🙂 Really... just go to a local store and ask for a rebate form... it's not that hard.

I will go to a local store and look at a rebate form. You're right, its not that hard. Surely not as hard as getting answers here.

true... if you pay attention, you might even catch a flyer laying on the counter for a phone being released within the next few days...

Can you at least give us a hint as to what phone is being released?

Sure. 3 new PTT phones 🙂

Most of them are available to look at on one site or another...

http://www.mobiledia.com »

Now remember, even though they are on that site, it's not rock solid they will be released. I know of two phones they posted that aren't coming to Cingular, but for the most part, it's pretty accurate.

Don't worry about it, they are not gonna tell us. They are treating it like its some teenage kiss and tell story. I would say go get a Nokia 6682 and you will have the best overall phone Cingular, or any other carrier for that matter, offers.

I don't need to know? Of course I don't, I'm just a Cingular customer. Why should we need to know. You just proved why Cingular customer service is rated so low. Please save your childish answers for children. Thanks

why are you putting him down for following what his employee handbook tells him to do?
he's not gonna lose his job just so you can sit there and twiddle your thumbs just thinking about a new phone that you probably won't ever buy.

Because it was the immature way he conveyed his message, as was the same way you conveyed yours. Twiddle my thumbs? I have 5 phones on my account, my bill is $200+ each month, so for your information I don't twiddle my thumbs on anything. If I can go in a Cingular store and find out the info, I hardly consider it to be a firing offense to let someone know here.

to to clearify, before the new rebates come out, they are put up for employee reference, but when it says 'not for diclosure outside of cingular wireless' it is a firing offense. that is why most employees no longer have access to phonescoop at work b/c of employees giving out TOO much info that should not be put out there.

That is CLEARLY a more mature way of putting things. However they said I could find out if I went in a store, so wouldnt it be ok to say it on here? And I think what lit my fuse is telling me "I dont need to know". (You didnt say it by the way) But that is just what gives people bad tastes about people who work for Cinguar, and their customer service is rated so low.

How can u say that? I had a post about phone releases for the quarter and I said their will be some surprises. You don't need to know for two reasons.

1. It could change

2. Code of conduct violation for me to tell u.

I should be the one annoyed u ask me to jeopardize my job. Then u say my response is immature. You don't need a company of rebate forms early. You are the reason that Cingular customer service is rated so low your expectations are unreal and your complaints have no merit. I come in here to help customer with their concerns. I have done a lot of good work for Cingular customers and other less experienced reps by accessing this website.

we don't hold anything against you, but you're pushing that "i spend xxx amount on my bill!"

the truth is, that's what you're SUPPOSED to do. you picked a rate plan (possibly had it picked for you) and the company gives you your money's worth. now, if you were DONATING "xxx" amount per month, then YES, you can swing your testes too and fro... but until then, those 5 phones are monies you WILLINGLY gave to cingular in exchange for a service that was set at a rate you agreed upon.

cingular makes no more money off of you than they do someone who spends 40 dollars a month on their bill, and got a free phone. so how much you spend is meaningless.

i'm sorry to make this such a long post, but this is a sensitive subject with me. just beca...

Well said. I'm sure if he called a company inquiring about new products, and he was a paying customer of that company and the response he received was "You dont need to know", he wouldnt like that very much. I got to daughters, 18 and 8, and I would never even say that to them if they asked me something. There is an adult way to answer a question, and they surely didnt do that.
