Media Max
Not too long ago, there was a media bundle on Cingular's website called Media Max, which included unlimited Media Net, 2500 texts and unlimited MMS. Then it disappeared. Does anyone know the status of this package, and if it exists currently or will exist in the future?? Thanks

It'll probably be available in the future. If it was on the website, they were probably testing it or something. Rumors have been circulating for some time now about this package. I expect it'll become widely available once 3G spreads to more cities.

I read somewhere that someone else saw that media bundle you mentioned on Cingular's website, but it was gone next time he checked.
I believe it was a website designer's glitch in putting up the page before it is ready to be announced where they had it as some type of Beta page (new page that they are working on, but not supposed to be active for viewing yet).
Anyways, do you remember seeing what the price was? Also, do you remember seeing if they lowered prices in any of their other media bundles? I'm just curious! Hopefully, they'll announce this soon. I'm in the SF Bay Area and Cingular has drowned us in tv commercials for MEdia Net.

It was 29.99 for 2500 texts, unlimited Media Net, and unlimited MMS. I have no intention of getting that plan anyway because I have the old Media Works which is unlimited Media Net, 1500 text, and 200 MMS for 19.99 and I'm not ever changing that. And no the prices of the other media packages haven't changed. Do you have any Media Net now? And what phone do you have??

I think it'll be launched later this year (maybe even during the summer) when the UMTS network gets a lil bigger since it's geared towards the 3g phones.
I'm also watching for an eye popping change with all features (text, mms, and media net).
Every other carrier is offering unlimited sms, so Cingular SHOULD be following suit very soon.

I have also heard some rumblings of this plan from my cingular reps, as well as some unlimited TXT plans..... THey all say wait for UMTS/HSDPA to get a lil bigger and to launch in a few more places......
