SunCom offers the 10 freebies, now AllTel.
Let's see.. call 10 people free, or call 55 million free? I think out of 55 million I can come up with more than 10 people I know who use Cingular.
This calling circle thing is the biggest joke I've seen in awhile.

Why would Cingular need to add 10? Cingular offers free calling to 55.8 million people.

It's kinda like an old plan att wireless had about 7-8 years ago, you would give a list of like 5 numbers whether it wireless or landline you could call them for unlimited usage. They had it for about 3 months but it phased out because the company was losing their shirt on the deal, since lots of businesses were doing it and racking up 1000's of minutes free for very little plan cost.
If anything i could see them doing soemthing like that maybe like 3-4 numbers for landline numbers but them being either SBC/BellSouth/att only.
But, I have four or five people that I use a lot of minutes for. Two of those numbers are landline numbers (both numbers are for my 2nd job, and I work from home and call those numbers more than any other numbers) and the rest are mobile phones on two different carriers. It would be very convenient to me to have a plan that would let me choose to have unlimited calls to those people.
In the interest of disclosure, I'm a T-Mobile rep. The rumors of T-Mobile adopting this is not...

Whether you are directly or indirectly employed with T-Mo, you shoulg get a free or some type of employee plan. I am wondering why you have a FT plan.
As for the unlimited 10 numbers, I guess that is something that I don't need to worry about, as 95% of my friends and family are on Cingular. To be fair, I have an old college roomate who has the old 3000 minute plan with 5 state calling area. I can see ehy he wouldn't want to switch even though he uses less than half of those minutes.
I guess it would be cool if other carriers adopt this plan. Happy selling.

If T-Mobile adopts the circle plan, I'll be ablee to reduce our rate plan and save a little extra money. With a teenager who is getting ready for college, every little bit counts.
The only reason I mentioned I was a rep for T-Mobile was because I didn't want anyone to click on my name and declare I was trying to start something. I honestly wish for our customers that T-Mobile had the coverage Cingular does. That having been said, in my area, it's not an issue for me. I've ne...

I hate saying this, but from what I've read, no other carrier seems to have that..at least..to that extent.
On the other hand I do know Sprint has an Unlimited calls plan.
Quest, a Sprint daughter company, apparently has the option to call your house for free, granted its a Quest landline. (not sure on this after reading that they are migrating customers to Sprint.)
