the new cingular this is the last time I guess no one read the first post.
Upon the closing of te buyout of AT&T wireless. first of all no one is getting out of thier contracts because of the buyout. AT&T customers will have a choice they can take a new cingular plan or they can leave their account as is. Cingular customers will be able to move to a AT&T wireless plan if they want to. There will be no customer out of contract because of the buyout because T and C's will not be changed.

Well that doesn't seem right....what about those Loyal AT&T Customers(I'm sure there are at least a few) who do not want to be Cingular customers...they're not going to be let out of their contract? Just playing devils advocate

why nothing is going to change the same plans the same policies will apply just the name will be different.

okay I'll take your word for it, it's just kinda odd with this big of a thing there are bound to be some unhappy people and you would think that Cingular would let them out...just sounds kinda odd

Their rate plan, equipment, features and such will remain as it is with ATTWS. Their coverage will increase in most cases due to the combined network, or will at the very least stay the same. They will have the same pricing as they are used to, with everything intact. They will have the choice of migrating to a Cingular plan, or staying with their ATTWS plan, or a plan that will be developed to maximize the benefits of BOTH networks.
Plans are for orange (Cingular), blue (ATTWS) and CSE (Common Service Experience) rate plans.

This is going to confuse the hell outta some customers. I've seen too many customers who just look on in a daze as we explain the services to them. Imagine them getting all this information now.

I just tell them if they like their plan, it won't change, if they don't they have a choice.
