I am kind of a gadget junkie, all of my coworkers make fun of me because cingular gives us our demo phone yet I always purchase the ones I like (I have 12 phones). I wanted to get a v3i when we released them...but I have been reading engadgetmobile.com and it reads like we are getting a boatload of awesome phones in the next few months. A few examples include:

-Motorola Z1 "Capri" (Razr-type slider phone)
-Nokia N Series
-Blackberry 7130
-LG C500

So what does everyone think? What has everyone heard? I dont want to buy a new phone and then have all this awesome stuff come out.

Of the one's you listed, I'd go with one of the N Series phones.

I love the big screen and the reception, but like I said, everyone has it.

The blackberry 7130 would be great if it was touch screen, since it isn't, I'm gonna turn this one away. Also I don't think it has a camera, which I use alot so tha...

We can hope... I think in the future, if they want to compete with palm, hp, htc, etc they will need to at least explore the option of adding it to a handset to see how it does.

We can hope can't we 🙂 I'd be all over a blackberry that is touch screen, whether it's stylus or finger sensitive. (a good camera built in wouldn't hurt either)
