I live in Old Bridge and work in Monmouth cty, ( i work for cingular COR). I travel enough to Carteret, Elizabeth and pretty much up 35 and 1/9 heading to the city. One thing I can tell ya about the service, is that it's really good and saturated once you head north of the parkway bridge. I think the best spot I've experienced is near the Rahway area. My stepdad is a sargeant for Rahway and his works well inside the bldg, even though he's using the old, horrible V180. I'm using the w600i, i love the phone, sound and reception's amazing, but it lacks a strong battery. I'd recommend any Nokia over any phone for call retainability and battery performance. I like Nokia's cuz they're simple. I always texted better on my older Nokia 6200 cuz the predictive text t9 made it easier. If you're looking for a strong bluetooth connection, then look for any phone with bluetooth 1.2, Motorola's always paired better than anything I've used, and primarily with their bluetooth products. I'm ordering the ericsson bluetooth for my phone. If you weren't using it for music, then I'd say the motorola v557 or the nokia's. we're not launching any nokia 6102i's til tentatively this quarter. the moto v557/1 i liked because the pairing was easy. ive narrowed it down to the nokia and the sony .. i guess ill make the final decision when I get to the store .. and ive read extensively on both .. seems i like different aspects about both

im not a huge fan of a bar phone .. but as well the nokia seems to have a few more options that I like

overall style i like the sony

I'm kinda big with pics .. its one of the reasons why I still keep my sidekick2 active .. click and email .. which has a better photo quality (video)

one thing I hate about verison they limit the length of a vid to 15 seconds .. hell in full mode I cant even send a 15 sec vid from my V .. only 5 seconds lol thats sad

BTW .. Whats better price wise ... since I'll be paying the 200 to Verizon for leaving early I heard that you can get phone cheaper thru Cinglar if you dont goto a service center .. IE Best Buy or someone even suggested Nokias web site

haha, Now that is the touchy subject, Agents and Corporate employees hate those big retailers (no matter what company) and if you buy your phone there you better hope the person there knows everything about cell phones because if you go into a real cingular store you will get dirty looks.

As far as going to an indirect, the morons at Best Buy really f-up'd my customers account. They called Sprint to cancel their service on two lines, then attempted to port them over. I'm like, dealer or not, are they really that stupid?
