cingular in VA/NC
Does anyone know yet what the Cingular/ATT combined network is going to look like in the NC and VA areas? I live in NC, but all my family's in VA and they'd love to get on Cingular to talk to me for free, but right now it doesn't look like Cingular has it's feet in that door. ATT does however and we're all curious as to how this is going to affect us.

Until the merger is approved and we know where we might have to reduce spectrum, its hard to say for sure. But that is an arewa I don't see that happening in. With the recent Triton deal, the three areas in VA we needed to complete our 100 major market coverage are coming on board upon approval of the deal. We will pick up coverage in both states from the ATTWS deal almost certainly.
