Pantech phones

Why is Cingular picking up these phones? I see the upcoming Pantech phones to be released. (U-G-L-Y) They look like Vzw phones. Why not releasing some cool phones like these:

They're being picked up because they are low priced, and they are for the go phone program.. perfect together 😁
