2125 & WiFi
From what I've read, the 2125 has WiFi but that feature has been turned off by Cingular. Is that correct? If I purchase an unlocked version of the 2125, will WiFi be available?
Thanks for the help!

Yes the Wifi has been turned off. If you purchase t-mobiles version (SDA) then it will have wifi enabled. Just make sure when u buy it is not cingular branded and u should be ok
Thanks! So to make sure I understand...even if the phone is an "unlocked" Cingular branded phone, the WiFi will not work.
Rather, I need to search for a T-Mobile version of the phone. I would assume the T-mobile version must be unlocked for me to use it with Cingular, correct?
but i'd still just get an unlocked one not cingy branded/

I apologize in advance if this question has been answered elsewhere and I have yet to find it...

Unbelievable! That's the kind of crap that made me leave Verizon. Dear Cingy, please remove head from anal tract. 👿

Cingular probably didn't order the 2125 with the wi-fi radio. It is an actual cost savings without it.
Thats exacty it Texas. They decided against it.
As far as cingy not having a wifi network, you better beleive they do, its just not techinically owned and operated by them . MA MA ATT(SBC) has a pretty extensive one that cingular piggybacks on.
