hey all a N80 question (new to Cingular)
ok so i LOVE this phone ... and I dont know if I want to wait lol
yeah im a junkie
my Q is if I buy a N80 from ebay unlocked will everything on the phone work? or will some of the items be blocked out
i have never bought a unlocked phone so I dont know
I currently have the nokia 6682 and i have to say its a awesome phone .. txting is kinda hard and its a bit more phone than I need
the N80 seems perfect for me and I cant wait to get my hands on one
also does anyone know a possible due date for cingluar

BTW I kept my VZW service . knocked down the minutes to the 30 dollar plan .. I use alot of mins a month cause my cell is my only phone and I have alot of friends on VZW

if you buy an n80 on ebay unlocked yes you can you ALL* of its features. you'd just have to manually set them up. web, multimedia, etc.
i have yet to get my hands on an n80 and indeed the 6682 is a pain if your texting a conversation. but the n80 doesnt look too different keypad placement and size wise. they do look a tad bigger on the n80 but i'd still say be careful.
in you post you state the 6682 is more of a phone than you need.
well the n80 will also be more of a phone than you need. just with wcdma 1900, 3 mp cam, and slider form.
i have no date or hard data of a cingular release of the n80 but hope its soon.

the 6682 does so many things ill never use .. great phone but more than ill use

and to be honest I hate a phone with exposed numbers .. i much prefer a camshell or slider

NOKIA.com is great.
you can even stop by your local cingular store. i bought an unlocked nokia 3300 and the guys at the store where i'm at set everything up for me.

to help me set up a unlocked N80 if I bring it in to the store?
I'm just real leery about paying that much for it (ebay avg price is about 600) and not being able to use all of it .. also from the rumblings I hear it will come to Cingular soon which I'm sure would be a lot cheaper than the 600
