Does Cingular charge for data transfer when sending or receiving MMS messages? Just curious; I don't think they do, but when I receive one (and, sometimes, when I send one), my phone does display the amount of information in bytes that was transferred. Thanks..

no they charge the fee for sending an mms or a mms is taken from your monthly bucket.

that bytes thing just shows the amount of data transferd in the mms call.

are you using a moto or a pre-paid phone? these 2 are the ones that normally show that pop-up after the msg goes through.

Thanks,.. yeah, I was pretty sure that all they did was pull them from my "bucket" (or charge $0.25 if you didn't have a plan). I'm using a Moto V557..
