I have a nokia phone that only works on 900/1800/1900 bands and live in the Nashville Market. I can't seem to get the internet to work on it. It is always on cingular extend so I don't know whose towers it is using but i suspect ATT. Could someone at the cingular store know how to set it up? I called customer service and they couldn't help. it is the nokia 7250i. I use it international but that it would be nice to use it here to get on the internet. My other phone is the 6340i or gait phone and it has no problems. Any suggestions or help is appreciated. Is what I want to do even possible?

it's probobly showing extend because it doesnt use 850Mhz. Most of Cingular's network uses 850, but if someone in that market could confirm it, that would be helpful.

whenever someone comes to me with a GSM phone, if it doesnt use 850 Mhz, i let them know it wont even work around here ,since we ended our roaming with T-mobile in this area a few months ago.
