Merger Setbacks
What is this I'm hearing...Dow Jones News is stating that a Consumer group called Consumer Federation of American, is trying to slow the FCC's review...saying that the 6 months will not allow them enough time to analyze new info the FCC has given them? Any input on this?
Disclaimer, this is not an 85 Percent type claim...I would post a link for you all but I am unable to access the site at this time

From what I have been told, everything is going ok and no setbacks have been reported.

That group has no real say in what the fcc approves or disapproves. the fcc is perfectly capable of handling this without some LOBBY group trying to persuade them. Remember, just recently, when VZW threatened legal criminal action against the FCC if they gave nextel their spectrum? The FCC has more power than ALL THE WIRELESS COMPNIES COMBINED. they know what they are doing.

If that is the case then I would have to agree...but it actually looks that group is actually doing work for the FCC and is stating that it will take them longer than the 6 month period in order to go thru all the information and approve it....at least thats what I'm getting from the article
