Fewest drop calls...is it just me?
I have an LG with Cingular and it keeps dropping calls is it just me or is everybody else experiencing the same thing. If this is the companys fault should they give me another phone.? ☹️

Ive had the phone for about a year, zip is 78238 and its a LG 1400. Sim is a 64k smart chip. Thanks.

as of today it shows this market has been about 90% integrated. There are a few tower that still show as blue and orange. Hmmm! Do you know any other plp that have Cingular in your area that are having problms? I personally say try upgrading phone. I hate LG phones. I think those are the worst phones ever (but this is just my opinion) 🙄

in your area there are 2 issues one on highway 90 and by jonesmaltzberger. the report on that tower says it will be fixed by tomorrow. the one on hwy90 says the planned restoral date is 3/3/06 😕 but its still a work in progress.
do you have a street where there is an issue or the whole area?
your area coverage is great 4-5 bars everywhere you may wanna get your phone checked.

DONT EVER GET A LG PHONE WITH CINGULAR, THOSE PHONES are notorious for having bad reception , i have a LG phone myself and i constantly get dropped calls, and sometimes when i try to call someone, it sometimes says "cant connect" "channel not available", "no response", or sometimes it has no service.

people buy them cause there cheap! HELLO you're getting what you paid for. I hate selling those phones cause they always come back, either to exchange for another one in there 30 day or people just bitching about how there speaker is out on it or it drop's calls etc.. Don't get an LG phone, TV, Washer and dryer, fridge northing they suck. now that you have been warned don't come here and bitch about you're fuqed phone i don't care. LG + no insurance = one dumb-ass

man the cingular info is from one area. it is not including the entire country, also why did cingular not publish the report if they did take my apoligies just please post a linkwhere we can all see the exact details not just some page saying we have the least amount of dropped calls. also dropped calls are just one part of a network, you can have poor audio like yuor comercial the audio cuts out that can happen with good and bad phone and still keep a call. so lets just chill have a drink beer wine or whatever you want and enjoy the sun.

Cingular is going to end up putting their foot into their mouth ONCE AGAIN by saying that they have the fewest dropped calls. I truly wonder where the claim "Fewest Dropped Calls" comes from (resource). Im in Orlando, FL, have a 64k sim that Ive tried in a Black RAZR, Treo 650, and now the Cingular 2125.
I have experienced a service that continues to get worse and worse. Dropped calls, delayed connecting when first dialing, garbling to no end, calls that just disappear but dont drop.
Its pretty sickening now, and Cingular tells me that its all part of the integration, but this has been a gradual decline since "Day 1" when the merger began.
Any suggestions?

Hey hey, there ya go! Thats what Ive been feeling for a while now, just have to wait for the contract to run out soon (but may break out early bc its becoming unbarable)
