I'm confused. According to this thread, the V3i is 399 retail, 299 with a 2-year contract. But supposed Cingular reps keep quoting 100 more than the V3, which at this very moment is listed as 149.99 retail (99.99 after rebate) on the Cingular site. I'm pretty sure 100 + 100 = 200, and 150 + 100 = 250. So how do we get to 300?

Plus there is the whole issue of an unlocked phone being less. Why should someone sigup for a 2-year contract and pay more for the priviledge? In my case, I would move from another carrier and have to pay $10/month more for the plan, which is $240 over a 2-year plan. That is essentially the value of the phone. I'd still be willing to pay roughly the unlocked phone price and sign a contract in exchange for th...

well to be honest when I saw that the V31's were only 200+ on Ebay I figured that maybe Cingular would charge 250 for a retail version

but 399 ... umm your crazy lol

and yes the guy did tell me with a new plan and 2 yr contract they were 199

its ok tho it gave me time to uncover the V3x of which im getting shortly (like 5 min lol BUY IT NOW) lol

And I just called the toll free number and was told Cingular does NOT yet have the phone. Why was I interested in changing to Cingular again? 😕

Could be a regional thing. I'm in the Boston area, and I called one authorized retailer and the 888 number and was told it's not available (and in both cases the person said she hadn't heard of the phone). ☚ī¸

ok what "the box" said made me very leery about getting one .. I didnt want to pay the money only to have crappy signal or none at all

from what I saw I had assumed had the 850 .. because they were quad .. some even listed having 850 ..

im just checking that you see what I do lol
