I have worked in Cingular customer service in a variety of ways. Cingular customer service reps have gotten bashed a lot. Cingular customer is service has gotten better but still has a long way to go. The number one problem is reps are not treated with very well. The good reps leave due to lack of career path. Cingular is not an employer of choice for customer service reps. For the good reps it is a place to go till they find another job. For the bad reps it becomes a place that will put up with their no can do attitude. Cingular customer service will continue struggle as long as they are not an employer of choice for the customer service rep. In turn customers tend to have a bad expereince.
