I live about 15 min from NYC .. in New Jersey .. Does anyone know or think that once the 3G is up and running there .. weather it will carry over to my area?

Is there any way I can find out weather were supposed to get it in my area?

I make 90% of my calls within a few miles of my house .. so most of my phone use is in that area

If your area has good propagation, good metrics, and internal forecasting, then yes, they should roll it out in your area. If they think your area will upgrade from what there is now to their UMTS/HSDPA then they will. I am sure they will because many carriers try to cover most of their areas with the next generation data. The whole thing is about money and their return on investment and if there is a possibility of profit they will if it isn’t, they wont. It is that simple.

How do you check? Easy. On their website, people in Cingular, listen during their conference calls, or on forums.
