So back in Feb Cingular went with a standard 175.00 flat fee for etf. in care markets we prorated the etf and they did it to get standardized with the rest of the industry, but verizon hates to copy us, we love to copy them and now that we got rid of it, they are doing it.............. erg.

Don't worry. That will make it easier on all those who were waiting for their contract to be up to switch to other carriers. I told a few of my friens who have family members who have Verizon and they are ready to switch, now! They no longer have to wait until the last day of their contract.
Let's see how Verizon does in the churn dept for Q3. Let's not be surprised if we see this new policy reversed after losing their so-called "loyal" customers.

you guys a pretty misinformed. if someone makes a calling plan change that extends their contract they get to listen to 3 mins worth of legal disclosures and have to agree 3 diff times during the disclosures before the contract is officially extended, and then after that they have 30 days (and they are told this very clearly) to go back to their prev calling plan and their former contract end date.

after the customer makes one calling plan change they have 90 days after that to change it as much as they want without any (more) contract extensions.
