Snuggles

Jul 3, 2006, 1:25 PM
If I were to join Cingular is it okay if I got unlocked GSM phones not sold by Cingular such as the Razer V3X 2 mp video conference phone? The Ericsson K750 3.2mp cam phone? Etc...?

with the crappy phones the us gets that is always a good option. as an agent we get many unlocked euro phones like the L6. The only draw back is that sometimes the MMS (picture\video) and the media net needs to be set to see the cingular network in the phone. This is easly done in the phone but save time and a headache and go into the store, I have to set it up all the time on the euro phones we have so it's not a big deal they should be happy to do it for ya. that or come to see me and I'll do it

That wasn't the point of the conversatin in the first place.

Nobody even once spoke of the L6's quality. One person suggested that the L6 was a "European" phone that was not offered in the US. I was simply pointing out that he was mistaken.

Okay? 😳

I understand, I'm just saying to the OP I guess, "Hey, don't get any ideas about the L6"

My hate for that phone goes deeper than my hate for anything else, lol.

you could use them, but cingular tech support won't be much help, and network services wouldnt be the greatest with those phones, as they do not use gsm 850
