last days for current upgrade policies

😢 in checking several accts in the last few days it looks as if this will not be a good change for our business. It might not change much in more metropolitan areas where there is more data usage, but it looks bleak for the rest of us. In checking these accts I looked at 30 accts. Of the 30 that I looked at 24 of them will not be eligible for contract renewal/discounted prices. I can hear the screaming customers already. I will not go by the moronic q&a sheet from the csp to smooth this issue. I will simply tell any customer not eligible to dial 611 and complain. Don't know what they are thinking, must be they took lessons from the enron execs on how to destroy a good thing.

idk how you guys work, but if we call care or dealer support and ask them if we can do an exception upgrade and they notate the account, we can usually do an upgrade after 11 months. This is only a last ditch effort though.

you need to read the new policy, it states that some customers if not "profitable" will not be eligible for upgrade and contract renewal even if their contract has expired. the new policy has a q&a with it so you can barf stuff up to the customer when they arent eligible.
