PDA with Yahoo mail
I had a treo for a little bit but got rid of it because I only had the choice of either logging into the website to check it or using versamail, which pulled down all of the thousands of emails in my mailbox.
I have multiple email accounts through yahoo and I'd like to have a device that goes out and checks all of them and notifies me if I have new email in one of them.
Do I have any options as far as phones that can do this or am I going to have to browse out to the website to do it?
i have multiple email accounts sync'd to all of my phones they only one i have not done yet is my yahoo account because i get to many replies on here at phonescoop ๐ . just kiddin. i think the sony ericssons both z520, w600i or if you can still find one a s710a (cingular branded) as well at the nokia symbian phones (6682) are the best phones besides a blackberry to do email sync on

if at sometime i do decided to pay the yearly fee then i'll make sure to look up your username and let you know how it works.
im thinking about getting it for my SE's and nokia 6682. i wanna know if attachment work because i know the 6682 has the every 5 minutes thing and adobe is on it for looking up attachments.
I'm trying to decide whether I should just get another treo or if the 7130 is really a better product.
I don't have a problem paying 20 bucks a year to yahoo to have pop3 capability, but I don't want to do a autosync with the treo versamail and have it try to pull down hundreds of emails each time... it seems kind of silly to have to forward yahoo to gmail in order to prevent this.. ugh.
In an ideal situation, I could set up mail delivery for multiple yahoo accounts and have it auto-delivered to my phone and kept on the server without it delivering all of the email since I'v...

i think the treo is a better device all around. but the 7130 is better for your needs.
as far as the problem with the treo i heard they fixed it but i havent put that to te test yet.
Does the Blackberry personal plan include web browsing or would that be charged by the minute? I don't want to set up corporate Blackberry email, just personal.
Thanks. ๐ F

I visited a retail store yesterday and was really impressed by the 7130C. Web browsing blows my wife's treo out of the water...
The only outstanding issue in my mind is whether I want to get the 8700 for the larger screen and non-sure type. Coming from a razr where I had to switch back and forth between predictive text and not, I'm thinking that the 7130 is the way to go.
The only other thing is that when I compare the two side by side on phonescoop, the 7130 has half the standby life that the 8700 has...
for some reason iv'e heard people say though the sure type keyboard is faster to type with. ๐คจ
