For real? What they have is not hot! The Q is garbage, the 8300 is just an upgrade, the Sammy with the 3mp camera (well thats the only nice thing about the phone b/c it wont win any beauty pageants), please dude. Now the Chocolate and 9900 are going to be sweet and I will have a Choco myself, but put things in perspective. Verizon has just released there phones over the past couple of months and Cingy will be doing the same next. Put it in perspective b/c in a couple of months you will be boo hooing about your phone selection the same way Cingy fanboys are doing right now.

really? You think so. I was going to switch but I really like taking my sim out and putting it in any of my unlocked fones. Does Verizon have unlocked fones? How do you switch up fones? Do they work overseas? For me that was the main reason I went with cingular. I travel a bit. I usally dont go over my minutes but a few times a year something happens and I got rollover to take care of that. Sprint has something for that but does Verizon? I am going to be honest I have not really researched it that deeply but out side of some new fones and a few exclusive at the moment things verizon doesn't seem to be a great fit for me.

Keep drinking that VZW Kool-aid. I was one who drank it too. Since my company has dropped Verizon and gone to Cingular we have all been enlightened.
We thought that every carrier had severe phone issues. We thought that Verizon actually cared about their customers. We also thought that they had the best network and we believed that even though there was lots of evidence to the contrary.
With Verizon about one of every ten customers had a phone issue of some kind. We had a glut of returned phones that we had to try to resell after spending money to get them repaired because Verizon will not take them back. When a new phone came out it went to the corporate stores first and then maybe we would get limited quantities after a few months.

It does not surpise me. By just looking at VZW customers who work at my place you can see, that VZW customer base does not care about technology or lack of thereof. The concept of making a phonecall already makes them very happy. They see bars - they are happy. They see commercials they are happy. When I ask about OBEX, SIM, UI etc. I get a blank stair - but hey, they are very happy with VZW.
