I'm looking for a phone that has Blue tooth, can us to view Email (ATT world net preferably) voice dial, speaker phone, camera would be nice but not necessary, view multiple numbers for contact w/out going back to main menu, I would like the ability to use the phone as modem for lap to to down load web site text. I will not be doing that very often, so speed is not critical. Infrared would be Nice to sync w/lap top. But I guess tethering will do that. Alarm clock.

I have been to a few web sites looking for help with this and talked to Cingular's rep at company stores..not much help. I have been looking at LG CG225 and CU500. Nokia 6102I. Samsung D347, D807 .One sales rep suggested Cingular's 2125. he said that the CU500 is not backwa...

Are you going to be using the phone for your AT&T account? If so, you'll have to get one that is unlockable.

I wouldn't go with either of the LG's that you mentioned. Their e-mail client is not very user-friendly.

The 2125 would be nice, but I believe it's discontinued. The 6682 would probably be perfect for you, but it's discontinued too, I believe.

It's also awesome for tethering, take my word for it. I think the 6682 is your best bet, discontinued or not, you should be able to find a Cingular store that would have one.

Thanks for quick reply
The att email would be nice. but I can use Yahoo. All I need the email for is to get notifications of the email. I'm not going to be sending a lot of emails..So you think I need a smart phone? It looks like the 6682 is no longer offered by Cingual. I was trying to stay away from a smart phone.

your thoughts?
Thanks Larry

It's not that you need a smart phone, but if you're looking at using e-mail on your wireless device, it is your best bet, regardless of whether you're just recieving or sending too.

The thing with the standard phones is that their screens don't accomodate e-mails pretty well.

I'd definitely recommend staying away from LG.

There is an app for the 6682 created SPECIFICALLY for that phone by Yahoo and Nokia. It is the best app I have for my 6682, and I also have Profimail, which can check up to 8 POP3 email accounts.
