I just had a Cingular customer in my store looking to port over (to VZW). He had to call into Cingulars customer service to find out when his contract ended. While he was on the phone with a customer service rep he started going off on a tangent about how the rep "had no respect for somebody his age(60)" and how he was just some young punk and should be fired. He completely tore the rep apart for pretty much no reason.

I know you are all glad we are getting this customer becasue he is bound to do it to us.

Anyway just wanted to take this opportunity to apologize to the rep that had to take this guys call.

When I was at Starbucks I had this older guy who always came in and would order his drink, and then out of nowhere he would say "boom, boom, boom."

So it went like this:

Me: Hi what can I get started for you?

Customer: Venti americano, boom, boom, boom!

Me: Ok that will be X amount of dollars.

Customer: boom, boom, boom, ok!

Wow, i have this customer in here right now on the phone with CC b!tching about his poor at&t service. Apparently he got a 20 bill credit last month and now wants more! he doesn't want to migrate due to phone costs unless he can get a free v557. So instead of moving to a working service he stood here and yelled at the CC rep for fifteen minutes trying to get a larger bill credit. His claim was its a buisness line and its no good to him if it drops calls so he shouldn't have to pay as much.
Some days i wish i could kick people. If any VZW reps are reading this, let me know if you want him as a customer, he may be coming over any ways. 🙂

He was on an AT&T device. It was determind to be a phone issue. His options are buy a phone outright off line or migrate. Your confusing at&t with cingular. I think i would rather send him to someone competent. 😉

I think your confused. If it works its Cingular, if it doesn't work its sprint, if it kind of works but with poor consitency its verizon.
