How can I get unlimited text and picture messages?
...
Haha, true. It's the only way.
Or, you can pull the shadiest move of the century, call up one month and say exactly this:
"Oh hello, I am interested in this package, MEdia Works, I heard I can have unlimited everything for the first month? Is that true?"
The next month call in...
"Oh hello, I am interested in a texting plan. I heard you offer unlimited messaging for the first month?"
Rinse, and repeat.

don't tell them our secerets...but make sure you do call in so no sales people get charged back for canceling the feature. but yea working for the beast does have it's perks. I get 2000min. unl txt unl media all for a whoppin 29.99 ( no tax) a month. plus any phone we want we get at 10%below cost and they break it up over four payments taken out of you're checks.

𤤠Jealous âšī¸ do you work in a retail outlet or in a call center?
...
Yeah but, what phone does Cingular have that's worth paying that much money for. The best phones you have to buy unlocked because Cingular is draggin their azz about releasing great new phones.

didn't they cancel the release of the v3i because the k1 is coming soon??
...
i dont think so... they have to have thousands of V3i's in storage somewhere, they were ready to ship.
...
Or SE w810, or Nokia 6126...or any other phone slated to be released by Cingular.

i was in an authorized cingular agent store, and he happened to have the unlocked v3i as well as the unlocked 6131. i took out the 6131 and was playing with it. the build quality on the phone is pretty bad, it feels like plastic, and there are moving parts. the push to open button is a plastic button which feels like a toy. in fact, the button didnt work all the time either!! i thought for a second that this was a dummy phone, but it was not. it was the real deal. interestingly enough, i was actually thinkin about getting the 6126 when it came out, but after this encounter, i dont even want it.
does anybody who has held the phone in his or her hands think that the build quality is shoddy? any opinions appreciated

I played with the 6126 at a Nokia dinner two weeks ago, and my first impression was that it reminded me of a flat z500. I went through a few of the functions, turned the camera resolution to max (which locked it up because there was no more free space on the device), and then quickly put it back on the table and walked away before anyone saw me with it.
