Dealer pay

hey guys need some help i think im getting jacked around with my commission what is the standard ?

are you the principal or an employee of the principal? If employee, your principal (employer) can make any commission structure and pay you anyway they want. it is not regulated by Cingular.

Don't expect to get paid for anything from Cingy, especially when you have to call in to add features to an account and when you have to do paper contracts, they are so bad at paying my company for that stuff.

well im just askinwhat is fair ! customer service isnt allowed to talk about snooper care or telegence , again in just asking other agents what the pay is or what is fair . I did not ask for a corporate answer

For us it depends on the overall profit for the sale. If you sell a 8125 with no features vs. a CG300 it makes a difference.

The 8125 is about $100 below cost right now. A single CG300 is about $50 (for one, the buy one get one price is different of course since the second would be $100 below).

I also pay a little different that other dealers who have a flat commission. I pay more for higher tier plans and features than simply a low plan. If you are going to receive commission for being a sales person you have to do more than sell the cheapest phone, no features and a $39.99 plan. Any clerk being paid $7/hr can do that.

On a $39.99 plan and a RAZR for instance you might make around $10 with me. But if you sell features, access...

With bonus I pay almost 30% of my revenue to my sales team. I say 30% but that is if they hit all their goals. I pay 25% for features and 10% for everything else as a "base" commission. I also pay an hourly base.
