Low Earpiece Volume

What is with most new phones having such a low earpiece volume???? Example - the SE W810i, nokia 6131, nokia 8801,SLVR, Razr, . . .
I realize motos can be modded to raise the gain but these phones should have louder volume at full level. It seems to be a trend with new phones.

Can anyone recommend a new high-end phone with decent earpiece volume??

WHAT??? The w810 has a low earpiece too? Don't tell me that! I have been waiting for that phone to come out for months; so I can dump my SLVR which is too low for me.... 😢 😢 😢

Is the W810 lower than the SLVR? Same? I know for a fact the the SLVR is louder than the RAZRs, but still not loud enough.

I have been reading the reviews on phonescoop. Most of them comment about the low earpiece volume on the w810. Maybe Cingy will fix that problem but I highly doubt it. I would like to buy an unlocked version but the reviews all say the same thing about the volume. I am getting tired of spending $ on phones with low volume.

If anyone out there has a w810 please let us know your opinion.
I agree about the Slvr & Razrs. I have had both also. Good phones but ...

LG CU500. If you're not in a UMTS market then I'm sorry, but it's been great.

Does the LG CU500 have problems handing off to non-3g towers?

It only has to hand off data services, not voice, and since data is sent it packets you wouldn't notice a thing

I tried the Z10 and had a problem with handoffs. It would hang onto the 3g tower too long which resulted in dropped calls, low signal w/bad reception. So, are you saying this doesn't happen with the CU500? I am hoping they have fixed this issue with 3g phones. I'd love to try the LG but haven't because of this.

I haven't had a problem YET. It's only been about three weeks, but so far so good.
