If you can't research for yourself you might want to stay with Verizon. Asking if Cingular PTT phones are better than Verizon's is unnecesary. Cingular's PTT is better, faster and has the best PTT phones too. Check out the z525a.

actually looking at this thread, no one really answered ur question, cingular's ptt cost 9.99mo unlimited and 4.99 for 500mins(i would get the 9.99, cuz how in the hell are they gonna count 500 ptt hours and its m2m anyways and there is no overage charge or other mechanism to tell u if u used all 500hrs so thats stupid on cingy's part) and cingy's ptt imo is the 2nd fastest ptt solution after nextel's being the fastest.
from what i hear ready-link from sprint is slow as hell and verizon's isnt much faster, if u want true speed and reliability in ptt i would get nextel(they offer ptt only plans, u dont have to put up w/ their voice network) or cingular's which has nice phones and features(available, not avail, avail silent/vibrate) and ptt...

Fastest - Nextel (obviously)
Second Fastest - Cingular
Third Fastest - Srpint (they are planning to migrate the PTT with Nextel..but no further news on that.)
And well, up here VZW's was so slow and unreliable that they STOPPED offering it here...and haven't brought it back. (I hear the network up here doesn't support it anymore either. Which don't surprise me, cuz the network up here on VZW barely supports data connection...if at all in Bellevue/Redmond.)

Correction: looks like VZW is trying to bring it back to the NW...seeing only two phones supporting it though... so *shrugs*
Either way....I do know they had to "discontinue" PTT due to service issues at one point.
