I haven't tried to play 30 consecutive hours of music (I would probably fall asleep) but the battery life IS superb on this phone and the music doesn't eat up the battery life as I have seen on other phones. I've had my phone since June 11th and coming from a 6682, I still think this is an awesome phone.
...
I have a 6682 too and a SLVR, I'm starting to use my SLVR more, because of the music. But the camera on it sucks, obviously this would be an improvement. I just wanna make sure it'd be worth every penny like the 6682 was when I bought it for the same price the day our store got them in.
Also, does the Play/Pause button on the left side ever accidentally get pressed?
Like if the phone's just in your pocket, and you go to pull it out and press that, does the music come on?
...
Yes it is worth every penny, and yes the button will get accidentally pressed, but I think you can customize that button. I just never have.
...
Quick response. đ
What kind of predictive text is it? Is it like using the 6682? Cuz that phone is seriously the best phone to text on ever. I swear it.
...
You can customize that button, I just did. Once you get used to this version of predictive text its actually faster. I thought the same about my 6682 (I still have it with the crimson red front and back đ but I like texting on this phone better. I do probably 10,000 IM's a month on here. Its a breeze.

The music player, being the most energy-consuming application in the phone, brings down battery durability to less than two days, which is far too short for a music phone. According to the manufacturer's official statements, Sony Ericsson W810 is able to offer a stand-by time of 350 hours or a total of 480 minutes of call time. Nevertheless, bear in mind that intensive usage is likely to shrink the charging cycles to as much as a half of the above mentioned times.

Then again that entire statement is so broad, but still, it's giving me a âšī¸.
Do you listen to music on it a lot? If so, how much a day, would you say? And either way, is the better as good or better than the 6682? Cuz that phone is ou...

The 6682 was my 2nd Symbian device, the first being the 6620. I never thought I could live without Symbian, until I got this phone. Opera mini does enough to satisfy my web browsing and the music and camera are far greater than the 6682, so in my opintion.....this is a better phone than the 6682.
...
Damn. And there's no doubt that the music on this is better than the 6682.
I guess I'm sold. Now I just wait for my paycheck.
Or maybe I can make some bold moves with this $100 on Pacific Poker.

Thanks man.
...
No there is absolutely NO DOUBT the music on this is much better. The included headphones are superb. I also bought the optional flash attachment for $30 from SE, and you should see the night photos taken with this camera.

But dude, it doesn't sort by albums, you have to make playlists!
Isn't that a pain in the đ
...
Not to me. Took me less than 30 seconds to create a playlist. I only have about 150 songs on mine.
...
I use my phone for music and texting more than I do talking on the phone, and more often than not when I use the phone I use my H700.
Does it let you use a card larger than 512mb?
...
4gb is available right now, but 8gb is about to be released soon. How's that for memory?? I only have a 2gb in mine though.
...
And it all works for music?! That is sick!
I just watched the video review on here, I didn't see it until today!
I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just checked for prices of the memory cards on eBay...
These things are freaking cheap! And 4gb, that's probably what I'm going to end up getting. That's amazingly awesome.
...
Yes it works for music. I think you can get a 4gb for around $100.
