ANY Info on Nokia 6126?

I'm coming to this forum hoping that some knowledgeable Cing. employees will see and answer this post...
Does anyone know anything about why Cingular canceled the Nokia 6126 from their line up? All kinds of possibilities/speculation on many forums but I'm looking for some solid/reputable info. How does Cingular (or any carrier for that matter) go about deciding which phones will and will not be released? What would cause a phone to be canceled?

As to why it was cancelled, no clue. All we got was a statement saying the "device council" decided to pull it. That statement gives me a funny mental picture.
I played with one about a month ago, and screwed up the camera within a minute of touching it. I turned up the resolution, and then an error message came up that said "not enough memory" every time I turned on the camera. I couldn't even get back into the options to change it.

I was picturing something more like the council of Elves in Lord of the Rings. If Hugo Weaving has been an elf and a drag queen, I'm sure he's qualified to decide which phones work for Cingular.
