Sprint appears to have changed it’s T&C regarding off net roaming.

º “Sprint may terminate service if a majority of minutes in a given month are used while roaming off the Sprint Nationwide PCS Network. Source: Dallas Morning News Sunday August, 20, 2006

º The key phrase in the text below is “A majority of minutes may not be used while roaming off the Nationwide Sprint PCS Network”. Source: sprint.com Terms & Conditions

As I read this, it looks like Sprint could fire a customer with only one month of off net roaming at a 51% off net usage. That’s pretty aggressive.

Verizon does not allow significant free off network usage like Cingular currently does.

in my area it has happened already. and we are 10 minuets away from roaming partners of sprint.

a buddy of mines had his dealer line cut 5 times because sprint has no native coverage in that area which is only 20 minutes away from the store where we sold sprint awhile ago. 🤣

we had to use the store address to activate his phone. 🤣

Bad for them, good for us.

I love Sprint, worked for 'em for 2 years. Great phones and great service where I live (KC area) and the Fair and Flexible plan is the bomb. They, however, are going to lose a ton of customers nitpicking how they do. This isn't the first time, and won't be the last time. Come on over to Cingular! I won't mind taking their money at all!
