Did cingular fall asleep?
Hello? anyone there??? Can someone wake cingular up? We need new phones, more 3G markets, more phones, HSDPA phones, oh did I mention more phones??? 🤨
What's the story on 3G? I really doubt there'll be 3G in 100 markets at this pace. Can someone give me some info? I don't work for Cingular anymore and I want a 3G phone!!!

Actually I and everyone I know drops every second call with Cingular too.

I don't drop calls. I use 2 phones daily (SE w600 & 8125), I haven't dropped a call in 4 months.

I have a e815 with verizon and a lg cu500 with Cingy (work line). I have yet to drop a call with the cu500 in the 2 mos. I have had the phone. The e815 dropps calls all the time and echos at least once a day. Stop bitching about you're piece of sh!t free phone and get something worth while (and I don't mean a razor phone). 😲

weird cause mine is perfection. I had to switch back to 2 g though cause it would drop calls when I went from a 3g network to a 2g network. my home is 2g and then at work the 3g is what I pick up. but it's not a phone problem or really a network problem if you know why it dropps. I can see many people being pissed for that reason when they start getting 3g phones.oh well just more bitching I have become immune to it

mine drops in the exact same spots my v3 did. lol. my w600 doesn't. we're all 2.5g here. HSDPA doesn't launch until next week. so it's just the usual LG issues i've always seen.

If you hate Cingular so much how come you upgraded your TREO? I thought you were going/switching to a different carrier.

I think wimax is going to replace UMTS/HSDPA before it's ever fully deployed. It hasn't really been beneficial in Europe, so they're testing other things now.
