Any Cingular Reps Out There ?

I work in Customer Service for ATT Wireless and the future merger is looming. Rumor's are flying around at our center and we really don't know what to expect. One Question that keeps coming up, is what system's or billing platform does Cingular use ? Currently at ATT Wireless our accounts are accessed using a program we call Siebel.
Are there any Cingular reps out there that would be willing to tell me what platform/system's are used to access your accounts. We are wondering which systems will be used post-merger.

Telegence is what Cingular currently uses for access to its accounts. All call center reps and corporate stores use this system. All agents use a system called POS.

The only difference is that agents can only access and service accounts in their market. Corporate locations and the call center have access to all of the US.

As for our billing system, one of the call center employees can answer this question for you. I hope you are looking forward to lots of training ahead. I think all of the ATT folks are going to have to learn our system.

You must be an agent. Yes Cingular uses Telegence... it also uses another billing system, depending which market you are loca...

we actually use 2 billing systems depending on the market...CARE and Telegence. At this time there is currently a system launched in the past few months allowing us to note and access accounts fom the same system...Clarify...it is only in some select call centers tho, started and based in Tulsa...this is eventually the system that everyone will work from whether the acct is CARE or telegence the PLAN is for the rep to eventually see no difference between the two because EVERYTHING will be done from clarify...however this system only launched a few months ago and it is making pretty good headway from where it began it still has a long way to go before that time...but hopefully it will be more widely used and all the major features added by th...
