THE 6102I IS A REALLY NICE PHONE. IT IS PROBABLY THE BEST PHONE YOU CAN FIND AT THAT PRICE POINT.

IT CAN DO ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING THE RAZR CAN DO, AND MORE! IT CAN HAVE A CHARGER AND A HEADSET PLUGGED IN AT THE SAME TIME. 😛

WITH NOKIA YOU WILL FIND A FASTER, MORE INTUITIVE AND RESPONSIVE USER INTERFACE. YOU WILL ALSO FIND THE BEST EXAMPLE OF CINGULAR SERVICE. YOU WILL BE LESS PRONE TO DROP CALLS AND LESS LIKELY TO HAVE TO DO A MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY EXCHANGE.

If you like Motorola as do I, then I would recomend the SLVR 7. It still might have a bit more than you want on the phone. But even if you do not use the xtra features. The phone Signal is very good. Sound quality is great. And I think it has a excellent speaker phone, which I find very useful on any phone these days. I have tested out every phone pretty much they offer right now, and it has worked the best in most areas with fewest dropped calls.

the dropped call rate is not very influenced by the phone, it's your sim card, except maybe for a nokia cause they got great internal/external antennas, otherwise the signal is ganna be mostly the same, it sounds like what you need might be either the nokia 6030 (speaker and fm radio) nokia 6102i (mentioned before) or LGCG225 (camera/recorder, loud-speaker) they're all very inexpensive and reliable

actually, it can be both. not just the sim card influences signal... a poor phone is a poor phone...

I'll say this once again.....RAZR'S SUCKS!!! I wouldn't let anyone in my company get one. The razr needs to be discontinued and Moto needs to start making handsets with HSDPA, or atleast EDGE.

If you want reception and battery life get the Nokia 6102 or the Nokia 6682. If you want PTT I would get the Samsung D407. If your looking for fashionable, functionality, and features go for the Samsung D807. If you're in a 3g area then the best phone on the market is the LG cu500 hands down.

There ya go...
