What does the 8525 have that the 8125 doesn't? I am guessing it is 3G?

That's the main difference... It's also more rounded.

Update on release: It WILL be out the last week of this month!

Which data plans are offered for pda's? Is the $44.99 the only one available for this phone that offers unlimited internet? It gets pretty pricey when you add a pix/text pkg to this. Hopefully Cingy starts offering some pkgs for pda's that include pix/text. It would make sense to be able to use media max with pda's.

$44.99 is only if you don't get as an add-on to a voice plan. Yeah, $39.99 is only 5 bucks but it's something.

Are you comparing Cingular PDA packages to T-Mobile? Cingular only makes an effort to match Verizon's offerings and their PDA Internet is $40 and doesn't include messaging either.

Yes, I am comparing Cingulars PDA packages to Tmobiles. I am considering switching to Tmobile because of how expensive Cingular's packages are. I can get Tmobile's Pearl & unltd internet for 29.99 plus 4.99 for 400 pix/text. It would cost 39.99 plus 19.99 on Cingy. That is a huge difference. I love Cingy (don't really need the wifi) but may be switching once Tmobiles 'myfaves' plan comes out. I am hoping Cingy steps up and revamps their data/pda plans. But as you stated they only make an effort to match Verizon's offerings. Some new plan promos are long overdue as well.
