Cingular Premier upgrade policy?
Hey,
I'm new to the forums. I know Cingular Premier doesn't have the BEST discounts, but some things are cheaper than usual. I'm signing up for new service, I really want the Treo 750, but I can't wait so I'm gonna go with the 650. Anyone have any idea on what the upgrade policy is for Premier so I know how soon I can get my 750?

it's within 20 months of your contract, you can re-new your service and get another phone at a discount

it's after 21 months in my market, but how much you pay on your bill does matter. Most Premiere accounts get a discount on the retail cost too, but it's still gonna cost you quite a bit. I would suggest getting the 650 now, then selling it on ebay when you want to buy the 750, but as the 650 has been out for over a year you wouldn't get much for it. I'd wait on the 750 if you want to get it for a good price.

Sorry if it's a noob question, but what exactly is the difference between a regular Cingular account and a Cingular Premier account?

Cingular Premier is for people who work for certain companies or attend certain schools (in this case, I attend Northern Illinois Univ). The phones and plans do have a discount... not much of a discount, but it shaves a couple bucks off the monthly bill.
