Sim card for Nokias??

Hi,

I have a question, I have dropped my 6230 into water and I have the 6102i on order...Could someone tell me exactly what besides phone numbers was stored on my sim card...just wonderng if my calendar notes are on this card as well... I had this phone for 2 years. Any help is appreciated...Thanks!

the SIM only stores 250 names and numbers, and 30 text messeges.

Take all the covers off, let it dry for several days, I'll bet you could get it to fire up again & at least get to your data.

It happened on the 15 of Aug. and I just tried just now and no go...but I will surely keep trying...Thanks! ....Do you know if the Nokia6103 from RadioShack will work on the Cingular Network and if so how?

nokia will save numbers to phone unless you tell it to save to sim your best bet is to try and dry it out like property33 said hopefully it was not salt water.

As far as your last question about calender notes and everything: it's all pretty much lost. even if you get that phone up and running, you'll have to resave all of that data manually.
