Phone Options Part 1 (Sorry this is long)
I think that in general, Cingulars phone options are a disgrace. Sure there are a lot of good phones coming out soon (hopefully), but what is available now sucks. I was just looking online and it is crazy to see the same phones all the time.
First, you have the free phones. Most people know that free phones suck, but not new customers. These are the customers that usually get these ones. We currently have 4 free phones online: LG C2000, Nokia 6030, Motorola L2 and Firefly. The LG C2000 is at its end of life. You can only get this phone online. Not even Warrenty Exchange has them anymore. They will send you an LG C225. The Nokia is probably the best free phone available because is is a NOKIA. They're still selling the firefly? I thought that wouldn't work with our 3G SIM cards?
Ah well... there's the white 807 coming out too, but it'll probably have the same reception as the black 807.
The thing I'm most anxious about is the rumor of the iPhone next year. I hope a lot of new things come out, but I also hope they don't push crap into the market just to expand the line-up.

nope. that's why they are slow at it... one of the biggest expenses last year were warranty exchanges. they are trying to cut down on that, so when they start turning nokia away, you know they are serious.
and has anyone else noticed how crappy the 6061 is? after a little research, it's manufactured at an outsourced plant in brazil... teh 6102i and 6030 are made in mexico...

WOW!!! The D807 in another color! Black, White, Red, Polka dotted. It is the SAME PHONE!!!
Also, we do stillsell the Firefly. Sales were temporarily suspended due to the SIM issue, but restarted soon after.

I love the d807. It has great reception in the midewest. The camera and screen are sweet, as well as the mp3 player. I've never had any problems with them, and I've got about 6 employees with them who love em.

I loved the features, but in DFW Texas it wasn't that hot on reception. I used it to a month.
On the firefly note, we still can't get them in stores after they suspended the sales back in the day.
