ok, so here's the deal. I have a younger sister, who is absolutely OBSESSED with text messages! She had 3500 last month, and I'm feeling terrible for my parents. I currently am the director of communications for my company, but I've never worked with a cancellation before. What will it cost to cancel here account to switch her over to terrible Tmo?

You can't say what company would be better for someone else. Sprint may be better for you, but I would personally rather stick my tongue on a hot iron than go to SprintPCS, and that's as a former employee and customer.

Well let me put it this way. From 12 yrs in the military I have been alot of places I have friends all over the country. Tmobile drops calls left and right and all the ones that have them got them cuz of the low price. And some paid to cancel cuz they were so bad. It seems to be all the places tmobile aquired in buy outs. Like powertell in the south. But its also in alot of other places. I was one of there first customers. After they finish upgrading with the spectrum they won they should be close to number 1 if they cna hold on that long. I have had sprint for 5 yrs total and never had a problem other then a droped call here and there. Any carrier has dropped calls. I rate my exp from around the counrty as this. Tied for 1st sprint an...

Well, that's your experience. I haven't traveled as much as you, but I RARELY have a dropped call with T-Mobile in the city that I live. And it's covered me everytime I've needed it. It may be the same for this other person. No one carrier is perfect for everyone, and no one carrier is horrible for everyone.

You would have to pay till the end of the current bill cycle the service is on and in addtion the $175 Early cancel fee, plus taxes on the whole amount, why don't you add instead the $19.99 on for 3000 messages .

The overages are reduced 3 cents when you get the Messaging Extreme option. It's still better than paying 175 and losing mobile to mobile.

If the acct is over 30 days you will have a 175.00 early termination fee. If under 30 days you will just pay the 36.00 activation fee plus pro-rated usage for the days you've had the phone. If less than 3 days you will not pay the activation fee, just the pro-rated charges
